On tap at the brewpub
Appearance: Clear dark brown with a small beige head and some lacing
Aroma: Nutty and roasted coffee
Taste: Toasted malts, grainy, ashy and roasted coffee
Nice solid beer, enjoyed this one

Appearance - 6 | Aroma - 5 | Flavor - 5 | Texture - 2 | Overall - 4
Draught at the brewpub. Dark brown, minimal head. Caramelly nose. Sweet with light-medium body and clean, hard mouthfeel. Focus shifts from caramel over treacle and butter to coffee in the finish. The malt feels hard and edgy giving the beer a lifeless impression.
