Bottle in Tel Aviv, July 2013. Hazy orange/amber with a medium head. Very light notes of hops and fruit in this one. Dull and boring.

Murky-looking amber with no head. Looked a bit better at the brewery on draught, but these notes are from the bottle. The aroma is mostly dull and metallic. Dull character, with no real hop. Just bland, with vaguely caramelly malts. Disappointed me both on tap and from the bottle - there are some issues that need to be worked out even without getting into the whole "no hops" thing. Later re-rates proved cleaner, but it’s just not a great beer.

Bottled, thanks Oakes & Beershine! Hazy copper colour, small head. Slight gooseberry aroma. Mid sweet with clean mouthfeel and light-medium body. Some caramel, not that much hop aroma. Mid-bitter finish. Simplistic, but not bad.

Draught at the brewpub, almost no head, clear light reddish colour, strong skunky aroma with somemetal soap and stale bread, flavour of bread and nuts with some skunk, almost no bitterness which is something the beer dearly needs and in generous amounts, light sweetish nose. Bad. BTW - This is not an IPA.

Draught sample at the brewery in Zikhron Ya’akov. Slightly hazy amber with a white head. Aroma of slightly floral hops and light grainy notes. Flavor is bitter, hoppy and slightly fruity with some backing malt sweetness. Nice long finish with a bit of citrus. Medium-bodied.
