On tap at Ølfestival 2011. It pours a dark brown body, unclear, and topped by a small, dense, beige head. Roasted, coffee-like aroma with piney and lighlty grassy hops. Rosated, coffee-ish flavor too, a nice hoppyness in the middle, before a roasted-style bitterness finishes the whole thing. Medium body, dry and pleasantly carbonated. A quite decent beer, tasteful and mellow, but nothing extraordinary going on. 110528

On tap at KØ-2011. Black colour with a tan head. aroma is coffee, hop, malt. flavour is coffee, alcohol, roasted malt, hop. Coffee finish. Nice/OK beer.

Draught at Københavnske Øldage 2011. Cloudy dark brown, small head. Evident coffee aroma. Mid sweet with medium body and cean, hard mouthfeel. Some coffee, but also notes of tin and syrup. Medium bitterness.

Draught@CPH BF 2011. Deep ambery brown, close to black, colour with a mediumsized beigeish brown head. Aroma is pleasantly balanced alcohol, coffee and some roasted notes. Flavour is roasted and toasted malts along with some coffee, mild liquorice, som berries and alcohol also.

Draft. An unclear brown beer with a thin beige head. The aroma has notes of coffee and roasted malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of roasted coffee and roasted malt, leading to a dry roasted finish.

From tap. Pours dark brown to black with a small off-white head. Aroma is herbal and slight coffee, dark malty and roasted. Herbal coffee and slight fruity. Bitter and dark roasted malt. Slight sweet. Bitter finish.
