(Keg at William K Kurvi, 20140129) The beer poured reddish brown and hazy. Its head was medium sized and almost white. Aroma had fruitiness, sweetness, caramel and malts. Palate was medium bodied with quite high carbonation. Flavours were malts, molasses, fruitiness, caramel and bitterness. Aftertaste had hops, caramel and bitterness. A bit confusing and unbalanced brew.

Draught @ William K. Kurvi. Aroma has fruity hops, some berries and bready malt. Flavour is somewhat hoppy with bready malt, some metallic notes and berries. Finishes with some vegetables. A bit too much off-flavours here.

Draught @ William K. Deep red/amber with a thick beige head. Lovely aroma, yeast, caramel, dark fruits, mild bready notes. Flavor has dark fruits, rye, wood, grassy hops. Bitter, dry finish. Bursting with flavor. Full bodied, high drinkability. Good one!

Draught at Stockholm Beer Festival. Hazy amber, rich head. Floral nose. Dry and light bodied with crisp mouthfeel. Bread and flowers, long bitter finish. Fresh and hoppy with good drinkability.

Draught (O’Connor’s, Uppsala) - Hazy amber in colour. Pine, biscuity malt, hops and toffee in the aroma. Hoppy, tangy and fruity taste with notes of toffee, grapefruit and nuts. Not bad, but I was expecting a bit more. The beer was approaching the end of the barrel, so I will try and sample it again in future.

On tap at the brewery in March 2011, unfiltered. Hazy reddish with a nice white head. Fruity aroma and taste. Very refreshing and tasty with a pleasant bitterness and mouth feel. Much better than the regular Slottskällans Red Ale.
