Bottled@Oliver Twist, Stockholm. Black colour, mediumsizedbrown head. Aroma is spices, some alcohol, whisky and mild juniper as well as some liquorice and mild toffee. Flavour is alcohol, some whisky and mild toffeeish and roasted notes with some liquorice as well. A bit strong on the alcohol notes.

Bottle at Oliver Twist, August 2012. Almost black with a medium tan head. Unexpectedly easy to drink. Not that much whiskey in this one. Licorice, light roasted malt and some peat. Also notes of alcohol.

Bottled at Oliver Twist, Stockholm. Near black, beige head. Earthy aroma of raw licorice with some fruity whisky. Medium-full bodied with fairly soft mouthfeel. Aniseed and raw licorice, slightn peat. Subtle whisky character. Warming finish with low bitterness. Nicely drinkable for a BA Imperial stout.
