A splendid full bodied porter based on an old recipe from the 1800s. Smooth, rich and dark, this Porter has excellent notes of chocolate and coffee provided by the careful use of roasted malts.

Bottled, thanks SaintMatty! Cloudy dark brown, small head. Some grain and chocolate up front. Mid sweet with medium body and rounded mouthfeel. Flavours of dusty dark chocolate and grainy bread. Salty finish.

Bottle at Omhper’s - Dark brown with red tinges. Chocolate and roasted malt in the aroma. Chocolatey and roasted taste with notes of plain chocolate, roasted malt and hops. Slightly burnt finish.
