Continental Blonde Ale. Our house favourite, Natural Blonde is a cold, fizzy and refreshing continental blond beer. The MILD notes of the Lager malt make our Natural Blonde a classic crowd-pleaser. The delicious dryness of the German Hallertau hop boiled up with a bouncy and bitter Czech Saaz finish off a loveable beer for every occasion. Matured for over a month in our cellars, your Natural Blonde will be served fresh, unpasteurized and frothing with crisp goodness.

A pale yellow lager with a thin white head. In aroma, a nice light malt, a bit faint. In aroma, a pleasant light malty lager with nice light hopping, a watery summer beer. On tap at Frog & Rosbif St-Denis , June 12 2010.

Had in Paris. Not much aroma, served rather cold. Okay colour, little head. Taste is fruity and lemony, rather refreshing but a little too tart. Tasted a little funky and not my favourite taste for a pale lager.

Draft in Bordeaux. A light blonde beer with a thin white head. The aroma has primary notes of straw as well as lighter notes of lemon. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt and straw as well as light notes of hay, leading to a dry and lightly bitter finish. Boring.

Tap at the Princess. Hazy gold color with a slight white head. Light fruity aroma. Better than thin with frothy carbonation. Light fruit over mild malt. Finishes a bit dry and mildly bitter.

Draught, 4.2% at the Frog and Princess. Clear pale yellow colour. The flavour is rather thin. A bit of hay, hint of grain in the finish. Even though this probably is an ale and clean as such, it reminds me a lot of a slightly fruity macro lager.

From tap at the brewpub. Pours clear yellow with little to no head. Light malty and light fruity aroma. Flavour is grainy and light cornish dry and mild spiced. Mild malty and bitter finish.

Light blond color. Aroma of malt, dry. Dry mouthfeel, poor flavor, just some bitterness at the end. Bad.

From a sampler at the St. Denis location. Dark yellow color with a compact white head. Very little lacing. The aroma is fruity with faint hops. Light body with sweet fruit, hops and malt in the flavor. The finish is crisp and tastes like sweet fruit. This is a decent beer but would benefit greatly from more flavor.
