10/4/2024. Cask at the Albert Hotel, Douglas, IoM. Pours clear amber brown with a creamy/frothy just off-white head. Aroma is very fruity, sozzled raisins, cooking chocolate, caramel, malt, hint of coffee. Medium sweetness, moderate bitterness, touch of berry tartness. Moderate body, quite smooth, very soft carbonation. Quite liked this. It’s pronounced “Jock” by the way.

Cask @ The Mitre, Ramsey. Brown in the glass with a nice creamy white head. Very smooth beginning, malty, slightly dry but still hints of sweetness. Easy to drink and deep as well. Hazelnuts and smooth malt. The aftertaste has roasted hints, smooth, fresh, malty-dry with a subtle sweetness & bitterness. Very nice!
