Cask@Akkurat, Stockholm. Hazy yellow colour with a mediumsized white foamy head. Aroma is citrus, some hay, grass and mild bready tones. Flavour is herbal, some floral and mild grassy tones with some slight sweet malty tones as well.

Cask at the Euston Tap, 21/02/14. Clear golden with a moderate white covering that retains, good lacing ensues. Nose carries a light floral hop presence, orange, citric fruit, grassy, not as punchy as standard Hophead. Taste comprises orange sherbet, trace of soap, light hop tones, tagnerine, bread dough. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, light grassy bitterness in the finale. Solid GB affair but not a patch on standard Hophead for me, just lacks that citrus punch.

Cask at Akkurat, Stockholm. Hazy straw colour. Rich aroma of pineapple, citrus and hay. Mid dry with light-medium body and soft, firm mouthfeel. Citrus, tropical fruits and strawberry, notes of butter and hay. Balanced bitterness. Hugely drinkable. A nice twist of one of my favorite cask ales.

Cask at CPK, London on 7th January 2014. Gold with white lacing foam. Exquisite citrus gapefruit aromas. Very delicate floral notes and fine grapefruit combine in-mouth, and the finish overlays these fruit and floral notes with delicate bitterness. Light yet engaging texture and light body make for fairly easy drinking. Beautifully crafted Hophead variant.
