Bottle. Purs deep amber with considerable carbonation. It's all about the peat here. Big smokey bacon nose. Big dirty bacon mouthfulls. This beer should just change it's name to Peat. And I love it.

330 ml bottle into schooner glass. Smoky BBQ sauce nose. Has the appearance of caramel sauce with a sudsy cream coloured head. Zingy and quite sweet to taste. The finish is a nice drying blend of toffee, smoke and raisins. Really excellent nuanced smoked beer.

The peat malt gives this the flavor of a single malt scotch. There are plenty hops too, as you?d expect to find in a good pale ale, and they make this a surprisingly refreshing drink. Best posted malt beer I’ve had. Very enjoyable

Pours amber with a massive head.Nose shows soft peat, a cidery note, green apples and bandaids.More peat as a flavour but better integrated. Some sweet light malt followed by a mild bitterness.Carbonation is much too high.

Keg at Mrs Parmas, Melbourne, Victoria. Hazy amber, small head. Aroma of bandaid and smoke. Mid sweet with light-medium body and rounded mouthfeel. Oily with bandaid and beechwod smoke. Notes of rubber in a finish with low-medium bitterness.
