(swing top bottle, 33cl) First of all I have to admit that I wasn´t aware of the existence of this small brewery until yesterday when my buddy Gregor presented me a bottle “stolen” from his fathers well-assorted beer cellar in a small town near Stuttgart. Impressions: Clear, deep golden colour with a blond medium-sized foamy head. Sweet (cara-)malty aroma with notes of biscuits and floral, slightly woody hops. Sweet flavour with a tinge of bitterness, almost medium bodied (quite “hochvergoren”) with a soft carbonation. Robust pale and cara-malty taste with notes of biscuits on a mild hops character in the background; sweet and slightly hop bitter finish with light floral and woody hoppy notes. A pleasant, well-crafted surprise. 27.IV.10
