Berliner Weiss aged on Woodford reserve barrels for 3 months and infused with lime zest and aromatic bitters. Pours with a slight greenish hue. The nose is dominated by aromatic lime and pomerans with a whiff of bourbon in the distance. A balanced experience where the bitterness from the citrus plays off the sweetness of the bourbon and the acidity of the base beer.

On tap at Galbraith’s. Pours hazy pale brown. Lemon juice, orange peel, bourbon, sweet fruity tropical fruit, some soft mint flavour and a lovely tart finish with a hint of bourbon. Cocktail like, and very tasty.

Aus der Flasche im Muted Horn Berlin 2017-04 getrunken. Deutliche Citrusnoten in der Nase, aber dann am Gaumen nahezu kaum sauer. Das ist eher ein Fruit oder Sour Ale als eine Berliner Weiße. Der BA ist nicht auffällig, es sei denn der hat die Säuere aus dem Bier geholt. Für mich irgendwie nicht stimmig. Ich sag mal ein eher spannendes Bier, wo aber bei mir der Funke nicht so recht überspringen mag.

bottle at home .. golden yelow amber ... thin white lacing .. soft sherber lime fruit nose ... light floral lime .. oh man this is very simelar to the last ... juicy almost poeppery lime ... definitly sweeter lime nose ... less funky fruit nose ... very soft .. less complex lime fruit .. dry zezty tart lime peel

Bottle, 375 ml, courtesy of Max. Shared with him and JFK10000. Pours hazy yellow with small white head. Lots of citrus, lime, lemon in aroma and flavor. Sweetish and tart. Light bodied. Juicy.

Bottle thanks to Eldo. Pours clear pale golden with a thin white head. Bourbon on the nose, vanilla and faint sour. Taste is light sour base beer and a bourbon backnote. Thin finish.
