Berliner Weiss aged on Woodford reserve barrels for 3 months and infused with lime zest and aromatic bitters. Pours with a slight greenish hue. The nose is dominated by aromatic lime and pomerans with a whiff of bourbon in the distance. A balanced experience where the bitterness from the citrus plays off the sweetness of the bourbon and the acidity of the base beer.

Bottled. Hazy golden colour with a mediumsized white head. Aroma is citrus, some tart fruits, lactic tones and mild wood. Flavour is citrus, some vanilla, mild lime/lemongrassy notes with some slight wood and earth. Wooden and citrusy aftertaste.

On tap at Hunah Day. Pours a hazy orange with small white head. The aroma is lemon zest, oak, wheat, floral. Thin body, lemon, dough, wheat, light tartness, very good.

375ml bottle. Milky, yellow-ish golden colour with small, bubbly, white head. Tart-ish, oaky, fruity aroma, notes of yellow stone fruit, quince, a lactic touch and a combination of oak and grape sugar, herbal hoppy overtones with a touch of peppermint and eucalyptus, lime and thyme. Taste is mildly tart, woody, oaky, slightly fruity, notes of quince, hints of gooseberry and rhubarb, a touch of lime and thyme, minimally sugary basis with a touch of powdered sugar, grape sugar. Smooth and soft palate, soft carbonation. Very mild.

Poues rather clear blonde, small white head. Smell is soapy, spices, tad sweet, herbal. Taste is tart, sour, dry, soapy, tad sweet, oak. Very complex and intense. Would be a terrific beer if not this soapy.

Bodney Towers Bottleshare. Thanks to Wingman. Light haze on this pale gold beer, thin pale cream colour head. Thin palate, mildly crisp. Big punchy lime and lesser lemon. Lime sherbet and lime peel. Floral lime finish. Bourbon? No scurvy here then! Nice!

Sampled from 0.375 l bottle. Hazy, straw yellow with a white head. Sweetish, very fruity, slightly sourish aroma of lemon, pineapple, gooseberry and bergamot. A bit sweetish, moderately sour, very fruity taste of bergamot, gooseberry, lemon and pineapple, followed by a short, moderately tart, rather dry finish. Thin to medium body, slightly astringent and moderately effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Very nice!
