Loads of fresh hops with wild yeasts thrown in on dry hops create a mild sour/funky character.But that's what makes it unique & special. September is the month to harvest fresh hops. To make a fresh hop ale these hops need to be handpicked and in a boiling kettle of wort within two hours or they start to wilt. These fresh hops give an incredible fresh flavor of grassy notes and hints of citrus. Thanks to Skånsk hop farm Korngården for providing us with the Magnum and Saphir hops for this beer.

Bottle. Pours a slightly hazy yellow golden color with a small white head. Has a fruity malty grassy hoppy aroma. Fruity malty grassy hoppy bitter flavor with weak sour hints. Has a fruity malty grassy hoppy bitter citrus finish.

Bottled. A hazy amber beer with a yellowish head. The aroma has notes of malt, citrus fruits, and hops. The flavor is sweet with notes of lemons, hops, and straw, leading to a bitter finish.

Bottle@Yesprs - Golden pour with white head. Aroma and taste is sharp with some herbal medicinal taste, grassy and veg notes, silage, weird, not great.

Bottle from Systembolaget, e-order in January 2016. Hazy golden with a white head. Aroma of light vinegar, some grass and something that reminded of medicine. Similar taste. A very strange one....

Bottled, from Systembolaget. Hazy amber, mid sized. Lemony nose with some grass. Medium bodied with spritzy mouthfeel. Sour and medicinal with grass and mango. Long bitter finish. What is the point of adding fancy hops to a product they must know is infected?
