Bottled, thanks Teja! Clear mahogany colour, small head. Cardamom, caramel and aniseed up front. Mid sweet with medium-full body and rounded, oily mouthfeel. Vegemite, peanut butter and herbal spices. Mellow and mature after 3-4 years on the bottle. Fairly low bitterness. Interesting and rich.

Tap. Pours deep reddish amber with a HUGE tan head that eventually dissipates leaving nice lacing. Aroma is caramel, toffee, pine, a bit of citrus. Flavor is the same, medium sweet and lightly bitter. Medium body, creamy mouthfeel, light warming on the finish from the otherwise well masked ABV. Not as complex as the best barleywines, but a good effort nonetheless.

From tap at Pi bar. Pours cloudy dark brown with a small tan head. Aroma is mild fruity and caramelish. Fruity and brewmashy flavoured. Mild grainy note to a toffee like caramelish base. Sweet caramelish finish.
