Canned at SBWF. Hazy brnze colour, minimal coarse head. Lychee and bread up front. Mid sweet with medium body and clean, rounded mouthfeel. Lots of caramel and fudge, slight notes of grapefruit. Mid bitter finish.

Clear light amber and copper coloured body with a ridiculously large, seven centimetre tall tan head. Aroma of pure resinous and floral hops with some light citrus, a touch of sugar and some pine as well - nice and fragrant. Light-bodied; Sharp pungent hop flavour at first that dies relatively quickly and shows some resin, white grapes, pine and mostly floral elements and almost no malt at all. Aftertaste shows some grain, pine, earth, pineapple and kick of grass at the tail end. Overall, a pretty mellow beer that shows a lot of nice aromas, but develops nothing in the flavour at all near the end - interesting to try, but not really worth trying, unless you like fresh hopped APA style beers with no depth nor complexity. I sampled this twelve ounce can purchased from Spec’s Liqour in Dallas, Texas on 11-November-2015 for US$2,62 sampled at home in Washington on 23-November-2015.

On tap at Hay Merchant. Pours a clear amber and ruby with medium frothy off white head leaving sticky lacing along the glass. The aroma is a bready malt and caramel. Medium mouthfeel with a sweet caramel malt and tosst with light dry finish. Easy to drink a good American strong ale from Deep Ellum.
