# 4411; 10/2024. Vague malty and floral aroma. Clear gold body; white head. Malty, floral, honey. Good german style pilsener; slightly sweeter. 0,33 l, bottle, supermarket, Retz (Lower Austria, Austria).

Klare goldene Farbe mit weißer Schaumkrone. Malziger, leicht hopfiger Geruch. Geschmacklich malzig, leicht getreidig, leicht hopfig, leicht grasig. Leichte bis mittlere Süße mit mittlerer Bitterkeit, leichter Körper mit spürbarer Kohlensäure.

Keg at SBWF. Clear golden, small head. Fruity nose with some grass. Mid sweet with medium body and clean, rounded mouthfeel, Fruity with notes of butter. Low bitterness. Austrian style very restrained flavourwise.

Pale golden, crystal clear body, with a medium, fluffy, white head.
Aroma of grains, grass, flowers, herbs, cardboard, some honey.
Taste follows this pretty much.
Medium, slick mouthfeel, with a lively carbonation.
Finishes medium bitter, dry, herbal, floral, grainy, a bit malty.
Pretty boring, flat style example. At least clean and fresh, but without much of the character, I like this style for.

An dieses Bier kann ich mich noch erinnern, da mein Biertester-Kollege Moretum, eine Kiste von diesem Bier zu seinem 20. Geburtstag über unser damaliges Stammlokal Veits in der Innenstadt von Krems an der Donau bestellt hat und wir dort getrunken haben. Das war inzwischen vor ca. 10 Jahren. Der feine Geschmack des Bieres ist mir bis heute in Erinnerung geblieben. Kein beosnders, aber ein sehr gutes Bier.
