Hazy straw colour.
Short lasting small head.
Straw, grass ,bread.
Thin body. Average carbonation.
Doesn't feel like a proper Zwickl
After slightly shaking the can the beer got a bit more interesting

Can. Malty aroma and taste, light yeasty notes, medium bitter. Medium body, malty and yeasty bitter finish. Average.

Can 50 cl. Yellow, hazy, slightly yellowish foam. Aroma: malt cookies and yeast, slightly herbal. Taste: sweet-malt, crackers and yeast, a little hops, mediocre.

500ml can. As Egger Live. Pours hazy yellow with a small white head. Aroma is hay, bread. Taste is the same plus light sweetness.

Enjoyed from can. Nose: cereals, bread. Similar taste. Light body. No hops. Totally away from what I know as zwickl. Just an unfiltered macro lager.

Bottled (as Mountain Brews Hazy Lager, 5.1%). Cloudy golden, brief head. Fruity nose with some boiled vegetables. Sweet with light body and clean, rounded mouthfeel. Light spicy hops, some overripe apples. Metallic finish. Guess you can not make a mediocre beer good just by not filtering it...

getrunken zu Weihnachten 2012 Obwohl dieses Bier in der Nähe meiner Heimat kommt, kann ich es nicht weiter empfehlen... Die Farbe errinnert eher an einen Radler mit Zitronenlimo und der Geschmack ist mir für ein Zwickl viel zu bitter. Ich frage mich ob dieses Bier wie andere Biere dieser Brauerei auch als Billig-Eigenmarke eines Diskonters herhalten muss.
