Growler from the brewery. Golden/copper pour, with a small off white head. Aroma is timid on the hops, very light, with some subtle pine resin notes also. The bitterness is very low, with some slight citrus pith. There is a pleasant candied citrus zest finish, but again, like the 4x4 there is some evidence of diacetyl.

Keg at Cheshire Cat, Ottawa Cloudy golden, small head. Peach, grapefruit and pine up front. Mid dry with medium body and clean, rounded mouthfeel. Piney mango and citrus dominates. Long bitter finish with resiny tones.

Can from the brewery. Hazed golden-orange with a foamy head, good retention and soapy lacing. Grassy hops nose with citrus notes and very mild caramel, grain malts. The taste has this burnt hay aspect to it. Kind of weird, but the citrus is there to balance things. Gives this IPA a different twist which is not so bad overall.

Can at Session Muskoka. Cloudy pale gold under a small white head that leaves sparse lace. Nose is big pine and citrus with some light toffee. Light sweet base for a medium bitterness but fairly one dimensional. Mouth is medium with average carbonation and a lingering bitter finish. OK. 8-/3+/6+/3/13
