Citrus Tart is a super-refreshing beer. Soured during the brewing process, then we add fresh lemon and lime juices for flavour and to kick the tartness into hyperdrive.

330ml bottle. Hazy orange colour, not much of a head at all. Aroma is very citrusy, lemon, lime, grapefruit, sour. Taste is the same, tart sour citrus fruits, prominent lime and lemon juice, grapefruit, tangy, slightly earthy yeasty note too which is a little weird, didn’t get this in Tropical Tart. Light body, moderate carbonation. Quite good overall, in my opinion slightly better than Tropical Tart.

Bottle from Fountainhall Wines. It pours clear golden - amber with a small white head. The aroma is bright, sweet - sour, lemon sherbets, limey, key lime pie, sour candy and a bit of funk. The taste is crisp, dry, tart, bright acidity, good mouth - pucker, lemon - lime, fresh traditional lemonade, key lime pie, bit of funk and sour candy with a dry, tart finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Bright, citrusy and tart. Quenching.

On keg at the Hanging Bat. Appearance - deep amber. Thin head which disappears quickly. Nose - lemon meringue and key lime pie. Taste - lime and plant stalks. Tonnes more lime rather than lemon. Palate - light bodied with a tangy texture and a long dry tangy finish. Overall - ridiculous. It’s like a soft drink. Could tan a fair bit of that.
