With such a name, you could think this group made an IPA with 7 hops. Well, it’s almost true... They made a hoppy beer, with simcoe and motueka (dry hopping) but the bitterness isn’t that strong as for an IPA. Hoppy... but special as well! The elder flower brings some extra freshness while the angelica roots give that particular resinous caracter. Although, the hoppy tastes are leading the aromatic profile. Not 7 hops, but c’est top as we say in french!

Lazy afternoon at Beerstorming with a very friendly welcome. Draft sample. Dark amber, massive creamy tanned low mocha head. Nose is nice mellow pine resin, grapefruit peel, syrupy malt. Taste is herbal, bitter leaves, bitter herbs, lots of bitter leaves, low herbal sweetness, some malt syrup, medium bitter. Body is thick malt, malt syrup, herbal leaves. Quite decent in general, def. above average by quite a bit for Beerstorming + best of this session obv.
