A pale, refreshing and hoppy beer with supporting caramel malts that keep the beer balanced. The northwest hops showcase flavours of oranges and grapefruit while the yeasts provide a juice peach flavour during fermentation.

On tap at Parallel 49. Pours clear gold with a white head. Dry straw and biscuits on the nose. Flavour has burnt, stale biscuits and dry straw. Nothing wrong here, just a standard pale ale.

On tap at Parallel 49, pours a clear copper with a small white head. Aroma is very faint, with crisp biscuity malt and nary a trace of hops. Flavour is a lot more expressive, with crisp piney hops and biscuity malt. Not much residual sweetness despite a prominent malt backbone. Decently balanced, but not particularly impressive. Meh.

Draught at the brewery
Golden colour, slightly hazy. A bit husky, grainy, but it has robust bitterness, so it's clean and it has character.

Taster shared with Alex. Appearance: clear golden with a white head. Aroma: nice malt with some flowery hops, mind of mix of lager and ale. Taste: similar. Overall: like a hybrid of lager and ale.

Soft coppery body and little foam, hoppy malts on the nose. Flavour is balanced malt and hops. Straight ahead but delivers what's expected.
