Médiocre cette DIPA de Galway Bay, et ce à la fois par sa structure et pas ses arômes. L'équilibre malt/houblon est très mal pensé, avec une base maltée recouvrant de trop l'amertume qui manque nettement de brillance. L'ensemble est lourd en bouche avec un sucre trop présent. Côté aromatique, le cocktail, herbes, mandarine, orange amère et savon n'a rien de vraiment charmeur. L'ensemble manque de variations de surcroît. Si la corpulence est bonne, la longueur est de plus très moyenne avec un final sans grand intérêt. Sur le visuel, nous sommes sur un blond pâle, légèrement voilé et quasiment sans mousse. Cette comète ne met pas le feu !

44cl can from Abeervinum, Rimini, Italy. Pours orange gold, hazy, with fine white foam. Aroma is intensely fruity and citrus, stone fruit, even spiced. Body and carbonation are average. Essential oils dominate. Taste is so bitter it goes almost astringency. Final is highly aggressive and bitter. Overall, a true comet, a bomb.

Milky orange with a medium head. Aroma of orange peel hop. Flavour is chalky fruits, juicy tropical, spice, chalky hop, bitter fruit finish.

ABV: 8.0%. Murky matt medium yellow orange colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, wheat, fruity malt, rich, moderate to heavy hoppy, pine, fruity hops, tropical fruit, dried fruit. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration, spicy hops, wheat, fruity malt, dried fruit, sweet fruit, fruity hops, peppery hops.
