Bottled (thanks Jonathan K!). Deep brown colour with a mediumsized off-white head, which leaves some lace. Aroma is toasted, chocolaty and mild ashy tones. Flavour is chocolaty, toffeeish, some toasted and mild ashy notes.

(Bottle, 14 Aug 2018) Dark brown colour with frothy, beige head. Malty, roasted nose with black rye bread, roasted malt, wort and raisins. Malty, roasted taste with notes of black rye bread, caramel, wort, burnt sugar, roasted grain and a mild roasty bitterness. Medium body, with a certain sweetness. Tasty and well balanced. Quite enjoyable.

Bottle. Pours a dark brown color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity malty bready caramel aroma. Slightly roasted malty caramel flavor with bready hints. Has a slightly roasted malty caramel finish.

Sample at SBWF 2017. Dark brown with a small white head. Aroma and taste of light roasted malt, coffee, caramel and some chocolate. The body was light as was the bitterness.
