In the summer of 1997, a handful of competitors gathered in the land of the midnight sun. Inspired by the wilderness, the unpredictable weather and the sheer beauty of nature, they set out on a Scandinavian adventure.
Two decades later, the same course inspires participants to reach outside of their comfort zones and, in the process, discover the wonders of human endurance.
In the spirit of multisport and with the inspiration that nature provides, NKB and Åre Bryggcompagni took on the challenge to create a bold and refreshing “lättöl”.

Bottled, from Folkölsbutiken, Stockholm. Cloudy golden, small head. Generous aroma of white currant, citrus and mango. Dry with light body and crisp mouthfeel. Elderflowers and gooseberry. Mid bitter finish. A very slight hint of metal is all that reveals the real gravity of the beer, but it remains exceptionally harmonious and rewarding for a 2.2% beer.
