Bottled, from Meny, Sogndal. Dark brown, mid sized head. Chocolate and tobacco up front. Mid sweet with light-medium body and soft mouthfeel. Toffee and tobacco. Low bitterness. Harmonious. Nice!

Flaske 500ml fra Gulating Tromsø. Svart. Lavt mokkafarget skum som daler sakte. Lett sjokoladearoma. Lite kullsyre. Smaken melkesjokolade. Tørr ettersmak. Grei - men litt tynn. Mye bunnfall igjen på flaska.

500ml bottle kindly shared by djoeye. Coal black body, low fawn-coloured head. Spotty lacing. Ashy liquorice nose. Rounded taste character of sweet dark dough and liquorice. Smoothly roasted endnotes. Thin to medium bodied. Satisfying(Tromsø 02.04.2017).

Nice light brown slightly bubbly-creamy mediumlasting head. Aroma is mild roasted, hay, weeds, minerals, dark malts, paper, grass, toast, roasted grain, hints of chocolate. Taste is slightly dry mineraly, hay, minerals, dark malts, grass, paper, roasted grain, toast, cocoa, hints of sour coffee. Medium bitterness, slightly watery and dry mineraly mouthfeel. Boring.

Aroma: Chocolate, some coffee and a bit roasted. Ok intensity.
Palate: Medium body. Tad sweet with a moderate bitterness. Soft carbonation level.
Taste: Dark malt, chocolate, mild coffee and roasted.
Overall impression: Quite nice and easy drinkable stuff. Especially at only 3.7%.
