Really dark brown with thin head. Aroma and flavour are full on mocha. It’s like coffee, cream and brown sugar. So much flavour in a low alcohol beer is impressive.

Deep black with little creamy beige head. Aroma is butter some coffee and dark chocolate. Taste is buttery some slight sourness. Finish is more butter and some licorice. Smooth mouthfeel and not too heavy. Too buttery for me. Ugh.

Tap at 20 PIP. Black color with beige head. Aroma is chocolate, some lacto. Taste is sweetish, milk chocolate, light, slightly watery, some earthy hops in the finish. Some paler malts come through when you keep it in the mouth for a bit. Lecker, just lecker, although maybe a bit too light. Ritzn says it’s too buttery, but I don’t have a problem here.

(Keg at Klášterní Šenk, 20160613) The beer poured nearly black and clear. Its head was medium sized and nearly white. Aroma had burnt malts and caramel. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were burnt malts, sweetness, ash, liquorice and bitterness Aftertaste was burnt, sweet and bitter. A rather nice schwarz.

7th Oct 2014, poured from a huge jug in the brewery tasting room. Pours a dark brown, almost black body with a tan coloured head. Aroma was a mixture of malty smells, with coffee being the major player. The taste was sweet yet fairly dry with the malts ruling the flavour completely, very little hop bitterness or involvement as far as I could tell. Had three helpings to make sure I understood the beer fully.

Draft. A deep red beer with a lazing beige head. The aroma has notes of bread, malt, and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, bread, and caramel, leading to a dry finish.
