Paavin Polku on vahva, vaalea belgityylinen ale.

Suosittelemme kokeilemaan myös makeiden hedelmäisten jälkiruokien, kuten legenda Tarte Tatin:in kera.

Bottled at TEJA tasting. Hazy golden, small head. Chalky nose with pineapple and potato meal. Sweet with full body and dense, rounded mouthfeel. Syrupy, bready with pineapple and banana. Low bitterness. American 90-s style sweet, syrupy tripel.

An slightly orange beer, a head is small and blond. Aroma is mild and quite strange, no Tripel there. Vegetables and fruits, earthyness, mud. Taste has earthyness, only hint of fruits, vegetables, mud, quite bad. Medium bodied. Horrible beer, this is rare to me, but now it’s true, over the half of the bottle is pouring into sink.

Tap at HBF2016. Golden color, good white head. Belgian yeasty fruity nose, quite harsh. Medium-bodied. Harsh, overriped fruits. Quite unbalanced belgi.

Tap@ Leijuva Lahna. Amber, clear, thin off white head. Sweet, berries, nutty and glue in aroma. Glue, sweetness, berries. Not for me. Glue notes were disturbing.

(Re-rate, keg at Pikkulintu, 20200925) The booze was way better hidden. Also, the hops were more balanced. Still warming. Not bad. (Keg at Villi Wäinö, 20160302) The beer poured deep golden and clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had honey and booze. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were honey, sweetness, grass and bitterness. Aftertaste was boozy, hoppy and bitter. Quite hoppy for a tripel and booze pushed through heavily. Old score: 2.5
