Bottle at Pien: I got this because I wanted an authentic Northern Ireland tick... pours pale gold with a white head. Aroma is a little bizarre... apple, honey, pastry. Taste is watery with a honey/apple hint at the back. Meh...

Can at home, 19/04/19. Some haze on an orange golden pour with a decent white cap of bubbles. Nose is grassy, lemon wine gums, straw, faint yeast, toasted grains. Taste comprises lemon zest, citric tinged straw, light herb, trace of yeast, stale bread. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with modest leafy bitterness. Does what it says on the tin ... a quaffable table beer for a hot day.

330ml bottle. Slightly cloudy, yellow-ish golden colour with average to huge, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Fruity and yeasty spicy aroma, hints of pear, quince, a touch of white pepper. Taste is dry, yeasty fruity and minimally spicy, hints of quince, a touch of pear, cautious peppery spiciness; light and rather watery. OK.

Bottled. Hazy pale yellow, huge lively head. Cidery nose with red apples. Tart with light body and crisp, clean mouthfeel. Grainy and cidery with light floral notes. No bitterness.
