A Black lager, as strong as a Doppelbock. The beer has been matured for 3 months on casks that previously held apple brandy from Skånska Spritfabriken.
Part of the mash is boiled at high temperature to get further taste dimensions to the beer, unusual to Swedish craft beer.

Bottle (from Systembolaget). Deep brown colour, mediumsized head. Aroma is caramel, some slight spiciness, alcohol, mild apples and some toffee and toast. Flavour is toffee, toast, some caramel, chocolate and mild roasted notes with mild alcohol and some sweet brandy tones.

Vintage 2021. Dark brown colour, big cloudy brownish head. Gushing bottle. Toasted malts, licorice in the nose, maybe hints of sweetish brandy. Medium-bodied. Toasted, licorice, wood flavour. Dryish. I get barrel but not apple brandy really.

Ser ut att vara svart men är i själva verket mörkt djupröd. Medelstort skum. Doft av lakrits, hallon och kola. Smakar kola, aska och väldigt mycket av torra ekfat.
