Poured from a 500 ml bottle. Aroma is really nice with some citrus notes of lemon and lime, some light phenolic notes with a lemongrass character. Some light tropical fruit, stone fruit and floral notes. A light grain note. Pours a hazy, pale gold color with a medium sized, moderately thick, white head that recedes fairly quickly to the edges. Flavor is slightly sweet with a medium light grain note. Some light citrus notes; lighter than in the aroma. A bit more tropical fruit and stone fruit than in the aroma. Some light phenolics and medium light bitterness. A light mineral note in the finish with a bit more citrus. Light acidity. Mouthfeel is medium light bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, this is a very nice beer. The aroma reminds me a lot of Saison Bernice, but the flavor a less so. Some light acidity with great fruitiness. Light phenolics and bitterness help balance the fruit notes.

Tap at Craft Heads. Big brett-forward nose with some wood and gooseberry notes. Average carbonation, light and slightly tart on the palate. More gooseberry as it warms. Some lemon zest and yogurt that comes out as well. Nice bretty finish that lingers. Really well-done and well-balanced. Almost flawless use of brett.

Pours nice clear golden, yellowish. Bit of thin foam. Aroma feels like autumn, fruity, sweet but feels light. Bit of horseblanket and brett in general. Taste is tart but not acidic. Nice kind of tartness without vinegar. Beautiful and highly drinkable.

Bottle from the brewery, drunk 3/18/16.
Perfect pour with minimal haziness in the soft waxen-yellow body. Well-carbonated leading to a large, snow-white head that is well-retained.
Soft, easygoing brett in the nose is backed by biscuit, light dough and shows lemon, light band-aid and hickory nut skin. Bits of honey with warming and just a touch of toasted character from the rice. No alcohol or flaws. Really lovely, restrained and soft stuff, as most oxbow beers tend to be (which is why they’re so god damned amazing).
Biscuity malts combine with light honey, while gentle plaster and lemon notes from the yeasts add complexity and balance. Tight carbonation and a chewy texture from the rice prove highly drinkable. Light toastiness is not nearly as aggressive a flavor as it is from regular toasted barley malts. It’s much more nutty, with no sourdough-like character and just a touch of earthiness. Great fruitiness on the end with easygoing brett character lingering alongside light tartness. Wonderful.

On tap at Goods from the Woods 2014 with Festero. Light dry lightly fruity earthy saison. I tried this later in the day and I’m afraid it didn’t get the chance it should have.
