(Can) Reddish brown colour with frothy, beige head. Malty nose with dark bread, caramel, dried fruit, dates, orange, chocolate and apricots. Malty taste with notes of dried fruit, dates, orange, chocolate, dark bread, caramel, honey, apricots and a balanced spicy bitterness in the finish. More than medium body, quite sweet. Tasty and harmonious winter warmer. Very nice.

12oz can picked up at the state store. Pours clear dark mahogany with a medium sized beige head that dissipates fairly quickly, light lacing. Toasted malts, caramel, grassy, herbal, bready, chocolate and pine. Ok.

Can 35,5 cl. Pours an almost clear orangey brown with a small and creamy, lacing beige head. Biscuity and caramellish nose with a hint of citrusy hops - archetypal American. Rich, sweet caramel body, lowish carbonation - bordering a Doppelbock. A little late balancing hops. An Old Ale can be so many things, this is one take on the style and I quite enjoyed it. 040320

Canned, from Systembolaget. Leakage problem, can not properly sealed, hence low on CO2, but not flat. Caramelly nose with hay and citrus. Mid sweet with medium to full body and well rounded mouthfeel. Deep caramelly, bready malt. Lots of citrusy, spicy hops atop. Long bitter finish. The low CO2 is actually working in its advantage.

Riktigt gott iaf.

Mørk brun med tykt eggegult skum. Lukter syltetøy, ristet brød, krydder, nøtter og campari. Middels fylde. Smaker lett bitter sitrus, krydder, karamell, mørk sirup, stenfrukt og noe trevirke. Middels lang.
