Tap @Foeders, Amsterdam, with Joost, small sample. Bit unclear pale golden colour, tall frothy white head, good retention and lacing. Aroma pale malt, yeast, lemon, hay, spicy notes. Mild but rich taste, medium sweet and sour, light bitterness, malty, yeasty, fruity, spicy notes, bit barnyard, hay. Light retronasal smoke, dry sweet and sourish and bitter aftertaste, medium body, oily to watery texture, soft carbonation, good.

(Bottle) Golden colour with big, foamy, white head. Fruity, hoppy nose with pineapple, lemon peel, white bread, honey, apricots, floral hops and a touch of yeast. Fruity, hoppy taste with notes of pineapples, grapefruit, apricots, white bread, honey, flowers, grainy malt and a generous citric/floral bitterness in the finish. Medium body, dry. Fresh and tasty, with a generous hop presence and a slightly spicy yeast touch. Nice one.

Keg at The Kings Arms, Bethnal Green, London. A hazy golden/yellow coloured pour with a healthy white head on top. Typical Belgian yeasty, citrus, spice aroma. Tastes similar yeasty, citrus, spice, lemon. Solid enough saison.

Tap @ Pigalle, Sangenjaya, Tokyo. Nice golden pour with decent foam top. Comes down and leaves some lacings. Fruity herbal nose, yeast is kind of strong, light candy sugar. Balanced. Tastes creamy, smooth herbal bitterness making this sweetness feel quite dry and refreshing. Orange peels. Well balanced also in this category, quite light and dry - but intense citric bitterness lingering in the finish.

Hazy blond colour with compact head, persistent. Strong yeast character in the aroma, moderate funk too. Bone dry, lean body, sharp spicy flavour, with some final astringency.

750ml bottle (thx, Mathieu P.!) shared with Jamey at Alex's. Pours a hazy blonde with a huge white head. Aroma is peppery and eastery, typical to Belgian Saisons. Similar taste with some malty notes. Good Belgian type Saison.
