My 200th Massachusetts beer rating. 16 ounce can. Opaque black pour. Brief tan head. Aroma of roasted malt and peanut butter. Flavor is sweet, roasted malt, peanut butter and vanilla. Hints of chocolate as well. A bit of smokiness in middle. Medium bodied. Sticky sweet finish.

Can (11/17/22) pour from Beer and Wine Nation. It's an opaque-- virtually black--dark brown with light viscosity, thin cap of beige head with poor retention, nice sparkle and no lacing. Aroma is strong roasted peanut butter and malt, bordering on coffee, with vanilla and mild fruit. Taste is strong sweet chocolate and vanilla followed by bittersweet roasted peanut. Mouthfeel is medium-to-full bodied with thick, viscous body, soft carbonation and roasty finish. Overall, strong aroma and flavor and thick body for a session. Nice!

Rozzie draught, 3/3/23. Clearish dark brown, little head. Typical VSB peanut butter treatment with heavy roast and a light spiciness. Vanilla, dry, roasted nuts and coffee. Clean, no sugar. Not tons of beer either, though. Soft, malty, drying out through strong peanut and light roast. Vanilla, caramel and milk chocolate. Clean, good attenuation.

Roast and caramel. Lots of peanut butter but still integrated well. Black pour with good head and lacing. Bittersweet end. Creamy consistency. Tap at Churchkey.
