slightly cloudy straw, beautiful rocky head. Orange, apples, hay, funky Belgian yeast. Medium full body, medium bitterness, dry, slightly boozy, but so well balanced and great depth you just have to love it.

Lovely stuff. Soft and lightly creamy like an under powered bon vouex, but all the better for it.

750 ml bottle, corked and caged, mail order form the brewery. Malty, bready nose, honey, light citrus, white pepper, spicy yeast. Slightly hazy medium gold, effervescent, with a tall, airy head. Looks perfect for the style. Malty, bready flavor, a bit sweet, honey, biscuits, lemon, spice. Perfect carbonation as well, champagne like. Excellent. Maybe just a touch too sweet, but an excellent bottle conditioned saison, just nailed it. Halfway between a regular Dupont and a Bon Voeux.

Nara Brewing’s newest release: Nara Fleming Saison 7.7% 24 IBU Clear copper gold with minimal head and a bready wheat and lemon aroma. Medium to full bodied with lemony noble hops and white pepper saison notes. A breadier saison than the others I’ve tried from Nara Brewing but still really well done.
