Two fellow Aussie brewers in Japan? A collaboration was always on the cards! The first of two beers we’ve named LIL’ RIPPER Shiso Sour. Lil’ Ripper is Australian slang for something that is particularly nice or pleasing. Combining Tom’s love for the sourness, and Red Shiso Juice made by Two Rabbits’ very own chef, this summer thirst quencher will hit exactly the right spot on a warm afternoon.

Tap at Keyaki Autumn 2019. Red tinged orange-peach color. Lightly lemony and lactic, light shiso nose. Crisp and refreshing and nicely tart.

Tap at the Mosaic Hostel Beer Lab Event. Two Rabbits x Kyoto Beer Lab Lil’ Rippa Shiso Sour 4.8% 3.2ph Orange-pink in color with a foamy head. The aroma is funky earthy Shiso with some sweet acidic tartness. Medium bodied and smooth with a tart flavor that’s kind of acidic yoghurt lactic but also like a jaw-breaker sourball. Easy summer drinker.
