Draught @ Craft Beer Winter Wonderland 2020, Helsinki. Crisp, hoppy and caramely malty with some juicy notes, grass and pine. Okay.

330ml bottle. Murky, minimally grey-ish, yellow-ish golden colour with average to huge, frothy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Rather weak, leafy, tropical fruity, hoppy aroma, minimally woody notes of pineapple, passion fruit, some bitter orange, oaty malty background, waxy overtones. Taste is dry, tropical fruity and citrusy hoppy, notes of lemon, pineapple, bitter orange, peppery spicy yeasty overtones with hints of white and black pepper. Not really a progress in Sudden Death's portfolio...

Tap at Malý/Velký. Murky dark yellow body, white head. The aroma shows mild oxidation. This seems to be quite recently released, so no excuse, but okay, citric, mainly oats, some light apricot-peach. The taste is a bit of a disaster afterwards. Odd green fruit hoppy notes, on the smooth oaty body, ending with an odd bitter kick that makes the whole thing in combo with the other flavors tough to get through as soon as it slightly got warmer. Either lost its wiles extremely kick or just not a good IPA/NEIPA hybrid.

On tap at Kraftpaule, pours a cloudy opaque golden with a small white head. Aroma is a mess, with diacetyl galore, earthy hops, chalky yeast and who knows what else - smells atrocious. Flavour is bizarre, with lots of pine needles, metallic notes, and biscuity malt. Another mess from this brewery. Just a very bad NEIPA.
