This fruited pastry sour - Sourovska - is a collaboration between Hotch Potch and Pulfer breweries!
The addition of blackberries gave it a nice reddish colour followed by a fruity mouthfeel. Some wheat was added for haziness and lactose as well, to balance its sour side and make it a cool sweet & sour beer which, we believe, will be liked even by those who have never tried sour beers before!

[ As Pulfer / Hotch Potch Sourovska ].
ABV: 5.5%. Hazy medium to light amber orange colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, wheat, caramel, herbs, herbal, minerals, overripe pineapple. Flavor is moderate sweet and light acidic with a average to long duration, tart, sweet fruit, sweet tart fruit, overripe pineapple, ripe pineapple, light lactose - milk sugar. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20200512]

Bottle, 500 ml at the brewery. Deep orange, small white head. Some fruit, berries, bit lactic, moderate sourness, medium carbonation. Medium bodied.

Bottle. A bit hazy coppery, smaller white head. Gentle nose, cream and vanilla, some fruitiness, berries. Gently puckery sour, fruity, a bit vinous, tart finish. Gentler aftertaste. Nice, maybe a bit too vinous/acidic feel.

Tap at Valhalla. Misty red-amber body, off white head. Dusty berry aroma. Tart berry taste, more like cherry than blackberry for me, simple, drinkable, not too tart. Not bad, but not the best beer either have made.

On tap at Valhalla Craft Bar, Zagreb. Shared with Ogi, I hope. Hazy amber. Small creamy off-white head. Aroma is watered down blueberry, light medicinal phenols, light acidity. Harsh. Watery. No sourness. Moderate carbonation. Abrupt finish.

Bottled 500ml. -at Goblet Zagreb. Murky amberish coloured, small white to off-white head, sourish nose with whiff of sulphur. Biscuity malty, weak caramel, slightly sourish fruity and discreet touch of pineapple with short dryish finish. Lactose subdued. No real sour character.
