Bottled. Deep red colour, no head. Aroma is fruity, honeyish, lingonberries, some almond, mild other berries as well as some ripe dried fruits. Flavour is honey, some lingonberries, blueberries, mild almond, some alcohol and mild almost gingery tones.

Sample at Sbwf 2022. Poured deep red in color. Bilberries honey and wood, pine needles. Bit sharp.

Bottle 750ml @ gunnfryd
Pours murky purple/brown. Aroma has notes of honey, blueberry and bog myrtle. Taste is light to medium sweet and light sour with a long honey, tart and blueberry finish. Body is medium, texture is oily with no carbonation.

KYGGK 180921. Purple color with no head. Aroma is honey, blueberries. Flavor is honey, blueberries, sourness, lingonberries. OK mead.

Unclear purple body without any head, looks like a fruit smoothie. Aroma is dominating by honey, heather honey with a faint hint of blueberries. Taste is sweet but mild honey, some red berries, blueberries mild acidity and slightly vinous like home made fruit wine. Fine body and same aftertaste. Quite nice, the honey part is dominating, and the fruit part is more subdued, that’s a positive thing. Still I think this is a bit in between mead and juice for my likings, but absolutely drinkable.

Bottle. An unclear lilac colored mead, still and headless. Rather alcoholic aroma, with berries, honey, some heather and generic flowers. It's full-bodied, dry and still on the palate and warming. Quite sourish. Blueberry, some heather and generic flowers, with a good dash of honey. Long finish. Would've been a good idea to tone down the ABV level a bit here. 210918

(Bottle, Stockholm Beer & Whisky Festival, 24 Sep 2015) Dark blueish red colour with no head. Fruity, vinous nose with red wine, blueberries and lingonberries. Fruity, slight tart taste with notes of lingonberries, blueberries, red fruit and a fairly dry finish with a refreshing berry sourness. Almost full body, mainly dry. Tasty and fresh with a generous berry character. Quite nice.

Bottle at 2015 Sweet & Sour.2012 versionClear dark red color, no head, no legs. Berry, red wine scent. Vinous, tart, red wine like taste. Tart aftertaste. Medium mouthfeel, tart finish.

Bottle courtesy of RLGK. Pours deep red leaving some barley noticeable legs on the glass. Smell is fruity with honey, bilberries, currants, lingonberries, hay, minerals, alcohol and lemon peal. Taste is slightly sour and fruity. Mouthfeel is dry, tart, astringent, tiny boozy and medium bodied. Finish is slightly sour with honey, currants, bilberries, elderberries, lingonberries, minerals, alcohol and lemon peal.
