Cymryd y Pyst is our rugby special beer, which translated literally means ‘Taking the Posts’ in English. This nut-brown beer has been brewed unconventionally by adding dark coloured roasted barley much later in the brew. The result is a deep brown appearance without the deep, sometimes strong taste roast barley can impart.

Cask @ Fox & Goose, Hebden Bridge. Dark copper-amber with a small creamy head. Has a light stewed fruitiness but with a robustness about it.
