Clear gold with no head. Nice sweet green apple and a pleasant light Mandarin note. Tart and tanic, green apple, orange, chamomile and lots more of the above swirling around in the finish. Orange isn't dominant, but well integrated. --- Beer merged from original tick of New Moon Mandarin on 29 Apr 2017 at 15:22 - Score: Appearance - 6 | Aroma - 6 | Flavor - 7 | Texture - 8 | Overall - 6.5. Smell of apples and bourbon. Pour a clear light gold. Initial sweet taste and sour on the palate.

Rum nose. Clear amber. Apple, honeydew. Tangerine finish. Light body, easy carbonation. Exceedingly unique.

Taster from fhe bottle on BC Cider Fest 2017. Pours a hazy pale golden with almost no head. Aroma is very cutrusy. Taste is dry with citrusy and mandarine notes. Good.

500 ml bottle. Pours a totally clear yellow color with a small white head. A big pulp apple fruity nose. Perfume, sweet vanilla, tannins, sweet sugary apples, some light oranges. The honey perhaps comes in to make the apple sweeter than otherwise and it works very well. I hate to say it but this should have a big brother at 11%. Clear oranges. Very good cider.

Very pale green. Apple, light orange, and it’s light, dryish and not half bad.

Draught at St. Augustine’s, Vancouver
Very pale yellow color. Delicate aroma, fruity and citrusy, white grapes. Very dry mouthfeel, no apple cider character, but it has a decent level of acidity and some citrus juice.
Nothing impressive, relatively basic in the global world of ciders.

On tap at St. Augustine's, pours a clear blonde with no head. Aroma brings out crisp apple skins, some apple must, and champagne. Flavour is bone dry, with a lovely champagne mustiness, apple skins, and a tiny hint of orange skins. Dry and thorough. Excellent.
