(swing top bottle) Cloudy, dark amber colour with a beige and diminishing medium-sized foamy head. Yeasty (turpentine) and slightly mouldy malty aroma with distinctive notes of milk chocolate and a subtle fruity touch. Slightly sweet flavour with a tinge of sourness, light to medium bodied with a moderate carbonation. Chocolatey and slightly fruity, also a bit musty taste; moderately sour-fruity finish with notes of chocolate and cellar. Unconvincing. 06.VII.11

Bügelverschlußflasche (kindly delivered by Koelschtrinker!): Cloudy, mid-sized fluffy head, quickly collapsing and leaving rings on the glass, lots of floaties; sourish nose with a good dash of turpentine - caused by necrotic yeast; light to moderate sourish flavour, light bodied; short sourish-grainy finish with - indeed - a touch of chocolate. Infected, but also otherwise not very impressive.....

Säuerlicher und hefiger Antrunk mit hellen Malzschüben. In weiten Teilen regiert aber leider die Wässrigkeit, alle Noten sind zurückhaltend, nur die Säuerlichkeit sticht meist noch hervor. Erfrischend aber sonst nicht sonderlich ansprechend. 9/6/8/5/5/6
