A 10.2% American Barleywine that was brewed with a simple malt bill of just British Chevalier base malt. A slow boil (over 8 hours) helped develop this beer’s unique flavor and dark ruby color. It was then hopped with Cascade and Chinook, and dry-hopped with Simcoe, Citra, El Dorado and Waimea. Vengeful Heart is a classic American Barleywine that balances strong hop flavor with notes of dark fruits, figs and toffee.

From bottle thanks to Michael and Fotis!! Hazy, dark amber copper color with beige head. Malty aroma with some hoppy notes , caramel, bread, dark dried fruits, wood, alcohol, piney notes. Sweet and light bitter taste. Medium to full oily body with soft carbonation.

[ As Kane Vengeful Heart ].Clear medium amber colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, sweet malt, caramel, tobacco, dried fruit, wood. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet with a long duration, sweet malt, caramel, dried fruit, tobacco, rich malty, light wood - pine - resin. Bottle. Hazy brown color with beige head. Aroma is piney, resinous, raisins, chocolate, malty. Taste is piney, raisins, chocolate, sticky earthy. Medium carbonation, silky mouthfeel. Very good one!

Bottle @ Pre-Borefts tasting. Unclear dark brown to red-brown color, medium sized off-white head that leaves fair to good lacing. Smell and taste malts, sticky hops, hops, some alcohol, sticky hop sweet-bitter. Medium to full body, decent to medium carbonation. Solid.

8 3 8 4 16 Bottle, shared at July THT, in front of Kwartje. From an IP trade with vantuylw85 in NYC. Murky brown color. Big dense and frothy beige to light brown head, good lacing. Aroma’s: caramel, resinous hops, some sour fruit. Retronasal there’s caramel, hop, bitterness, some fruit. Flavor is moderate sweet, fruity, hopbitter. Medium bodied. Long finish, dry, moderate to full bitter.
