Bottle, 5.6%. OK malty aroma. Clear dark red amber colour. Small unstable off-white. The flavour is mildly sweet and herbal. Not so exciting.

The bottle looks like a cheap beer, but it tastes not so. A little bit like a bockbier, really spicy and very drinkable. Nice surprise! Good beer!

Test vom 24.12.2006, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 6,9,9,9,9,9 - 8,70

(bottle) Clear amber colour with a big foamy lacy head. Definitely not the expected Dortmunder/Helles: Toasted malty nose with caramel and a grassy hoppy background. Sweet caramel-malty taste, medium body, sweetbitter malty finish with a touch of liquorice. Rather a Vienna or Märzen, thus surprisingly drinkable for such a cheap beer.

(Bottle 50 cl) Dark golden, with a dense head and a heavy carbonation. Rather malty with quite some bitterness in the finish - more bitter than what’s usual for the style. Strong - but needs some body and flavour though. 200702
