12oz bottle poured into a shaker. Pours a cloudy dark orange with about a finger of thick white head. Aroma of bready malt and some grassy and herbal hops. Taste is medium bitter. Resin and herbs with a little bready malt. Medium bodied with a creamy texture. Lively carbonation and a long finish. Overall, not bad. I’d drink this one again.

Sweet 12oz bonus bottle courtesy of GhostFace, you the man Neil, pours clear copper with thick gold edges and off white head. The aroma offers up plenty of bold pine hops, thicker sticky hop resin and what must be rye notes not far behind. Wow! Ok, yes. This is a wild ride where the taste delivers big pine hop notes that pulse with bitter resiny notes and then pulling up twangy spicy rye. Wow wow. This is loaded with pine hoppy goodness. Well done, I dig it. Big bold bitter yummy IPA.

Bottle. Pours a clear copper amber with visible carbonation and a tan head that dissipates slowly to the edges and laces nicely. Aroma has notes of pine hops with la bit of grapefruit and backing rye. Flavor begins with light pine and rye and finishes with a bitter grapefruit note.

10/13/11/13/12/13

12oz bottle. Toffee orange-brown with a soapy, patchy beige head. A pretty soild effort, with some respectable piny hop tones. The rye fills out the beer, giving it some nice depth and balancing out the resinous hops. Crisp and bitter. Caramel toffee malt tones, sugary gingerbread rye tones. A solid offering from Sand Creek.
