(6/21/08) Draught at the Leipziger Bierbörse festival in Leipzig. Clear golden with a small white head. Aroma of adjuncts and grainy malt. Sweet grainy flavor with sugar. Light-bodied. This beer pretty much sucks, I had to water a near-by tree with it.

A strange beer. No idea where it is brewed. Simply named "Kuckucksbier". Asked Ludwiga Zerbst about it, It think it’s brewed in different breweries in different times. My one is a schwarzbier, 4,9 % ABV. The bottle looks terrible, the beer in the glass is not bad. Tastes modest malty, a little bit sweet. Dry finish, almost like a dunkel. Not bad!

Draught at BBF07 as Katharinen Kuckuckbier (Honigbier). Greyish brown colour. No head. The flavour is quite sweet, but I cannot really taste the honey.

Komisches Zeug.
