Test vom 11.9.2005, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 10,6,6,5,10,6 - 6,45

(Bottle 33 cl) In my version called "Ceres Royal All Malt". Voted "Best new beer" the year it was introduced. Then Ceres changed it’s name and then retired it completely. A sad fate for a nice beer. Nice fully golden colour with a lovely frothy head. Faint malty aromas in the nose. Malty, slightly sweet flavours with a touch of caramel. Discreet bitter finish. Full-bodied quality stuff. 100200

Amber, with non-existent head. Strong nose of malt. Good malt aroma, but quite thin and not very complex. Very drinkable though.

A light amber beer with almost no head. It has a slight malty aroma. The flavor is that of a good malt blend, maybe a bit watery, ending of in a nice hop bitterness. Definately the best beer brewed by Ceres.
