25.04.2018 -- on tap at mokhnaty khmel, 58 uah/.4l. pours a hazy deep amber with a steady off-white head. aroma of caraway seeds, spruce, borodinsky bread, grains. flavour of coriander, caraway, grapefruit zest, kvass. long zesty bitter finish, at the same time the mouthfeel is quite smooth and bordering on watery for an ipa. interesting overall.

(Kiev 2016) 330 ml. bottle consumed. Purchased @ Wooly Hops. 20 % Rye. Chinook & Cascade. BBF 01.10.16. Pours a murky dark brown kvass with little tanned head. Nose is weird oily hop, rye bread & kvass, fermenting bread, tad watery & quite messy. Taste is big caramel, bread, watery rye, raisin, sugar, no real hop, kvass, Christmas spices, caramel, low coca-cola, sweetness, brown sugar. Bit watery, bread & kvass bready. I cannot call this an IPA, I found appeal in its sweet kvass, bread & raisin qualities, a bit too messy & tad to watery to fully love for me but I did enjoy it even if it is insanely far removed from intended style in my opinion.
