Hindamiseks teen vaid ticki.

BOTTLE 50 CL as Taruškų Porteris Juodasis Alus. Deep brown, beige head. Lots of diacetyl, some burnt oil, chocolate. Would pass as Tumsus, just a bit more roasty and bitter. It feels like Lituanian.

(Kiev 2016) 750 ml. bottle split by 2. Purchased at Klaipeda. BBF 08.2016. Bottle #147.. Dark very dark dark brown with a fizzy tanned head. Nose is thin herbal chicory, roast, low ashes, a bit too thin, herbal roast. Taste is a bit thin, plants, herbal, chicory roast, powdery, herbal, low sweet herbal. Weird herbal chicory profile, I did find it pleasant, it needed more thickness to really shine, this beer is too thin for its own good, too bad. Very low score here seems to be due to bad batches, I guess I got lucky.

75cl bottle as a gift. Pours almost clear mahogany with very modest, tan head. Malty aroma with vinous notes, dark fruits and berries, hints of licorice and some earthy hints too. Sweet and malty with slightly strange notes, but fairly balanced and drinkable. Medium body with fairly soft carbonation. Not Baltic Porter as I know it, but interesting enough.

750ml bottle, butelio 12026, 6 % abv, kindly shared by djoeye. Big shot when opened. Dissipating fawn-coloured head. Dark red coloured body, slightly hazy. Earth and dusty hops on the nose. Sweet flavours of caramel, prunes, and herbal hops. Mild roasted ending. Fine bodied and drinkable, however, much too sweet for a higher score (session with Finn and djoeye Tromsø 16.07.2014).
