Pours dark brown with a tiny bubbly head. Aroma of sweet caramely malts, toffee, honey, smoked wood and vanilla. Taste is sweet, sugary, caramely and malty with some smoked notes, toffee and alcohol. Finish is sticky sweet, sugary and syrupy with caramel, toffee and honey. Not your typical mead, quite heavy and malty but still pretty sweet.

Aroma has deep cocoa notes. Also dark chocolate and dried meat. Flavour has roastiness, some cocoa and sweet tones. Quite like a mix of imperial stout and mead. Too sweet to have the whole bottle oneself, but as a slow sipper this is nice.

Hefig alkoholischer Antrunk, dabei malzig mit Honignoten. Rauchig, intensiv, süß aber nicht zuckrig. Weiterhin rauchig, minimal herb. Vanillenoten, harmonisch, nie alkoholisch. Gut! 11/12/12/11/12/12
